How sweet is this...

Seriously. It says right on the front of the envelope that I got in!!! I just got my official acceptance letter in the mail which was very exciting. It will be going in a frame one of these days and on display because it was such a great moment in my life. Call me corny, but I don't really care!
I'm pretty sure I wrote about the beverage called "LIFT" before. It is my fave pop down here, plus it's made with 5% REAL lemon juice so it must be healthy right? Just kidding! Anyway, the other day Spencer and I were biking and there was a basket on someone's front lawn full of lemons for people to take. These lemons were absolutely MASSIVE so we took one just to show you all back home what a real naturally grown non-genetically modified lemon looks like. I displayed it by a can of LIFT so you can all get a feel for the largeness of this lemon, keep in mind that the normal can size for pop here is 20mL more than in Edmonton.

Huge hey?!
I made chocolate covered strawberries the other day. They were so freaking good. I haven't had them for a few years now. It was kind of a bad idea because now I find myself craving them. It doesn't help that there is always strawberries at the store either.

For the last two days I have really only done one thing. I have been working on making a video for the trip Spencer and I took to Hawaii almost two years ago. My new laptop makes it super easy and convenient to do that (thanks dad!)...now I will be able to remember this laptop years after it has broken down and rendered "useless" by technological advances. Just like the other time I made a video I became totally engrossed by it, staying up until 1:30am and working on it for hours on end. It's great, it really is. I finally finished it today, probably a good 20 hours of work went into it. It took a while, but that's only because I'm such a darn perfectionist with it. I had to find the perfect song and couple certain pictures with certain words of the song, as well as the beat of the music. Well worth it though. I think I will "debut" it to Spencer tomorrow after his big exam.
Now what am I going to do with my time...
Speed read through the book I started I suppose.
:)
